Seasonal Assistant Groundskeeper

Job Summary

The assistant groundskeeper is an important part of maintaining the playing surface at Harry Grove Stadium. They will be involved in all on-field maintenance, including mowing, field marking, fertilization, irrigation, mound and plate repair, edging, skin maintenance, tarping, batting practice setup, aerification, and set up for extra events.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Candidates have prior Turf experience along with a strong work ethic.
2. A degree in turf or a related field is preferred but quality of prior experience will be considered heavily if candidate has no formal education.
3. seeding, sodding and maintenance practices for sports field turf grass.
4. Candidate must be able to work long hours, 88 game schedule plus 25 outside events on the field during the season including weekends and holidays.
