Assistant to the Head Coach

Job Summary

The assistant to the head coach supports the Michigan football team, the head coach, and families in all areas. This position will assist with day-to-day operations, scheduling, internal and external communications, and office management. It will also assist the recruiting and player development departments with special events and projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years related experience in project development and/or office administration.

Creative thinking and ability to think on their feet.

Compliance/understanding of NCAA, Big Ten, and University of Michigan policies.

Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with athletic department staff, coaches, and student-athletes.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
