Baseball Operations & Pro Scouting Assistant

Job Summary

This position provides the opportunity to work closely with the Baseball Operations and Pro Scouting staffs to assist with player acquisition and salary arbitration preparation. Responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day operations as well as reviewing daily reports and information for the front office.

Qualifications:

Candidate must be at least a college senior or recent graduate.

Candidate must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Candidate must have a general understanding of MLB rules, regulations, and contracts.

Candidate must have a general understanding of baseball scouting.

Candidate must have a general understanding of recent analytical baseball research and trends.
