About the Position
The Director of Scoreboard Operations will play a key role in leading initiatives related to AV technology, systems and processes that support the in-arena production environment at Chase Center, the new home for the Golden State Warriors, opening fall 2019. In this role, you will provide management, leadership and oversight for all Chase Center presentation video, audio and LED display technology. The position will provide direction for the forward-facing arena digital media assets and facilities presentation during event and non-event times. Additionally, you will ensure that Chase Center operates optimally at all times and that all patrons, clients, partners, promoters and production personnel have consistent and first-class experience with all arena presentation, audio and video technology.

This is a full-time position and is based in Oakland, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with a diverse team of executives, outside consultants and integrators on the design and implementation of the state-of-the-art AV Production Control Room and LED System
Provide operational expertise for all video, audio, lighting and production systems and equipment used for venue and event presentation including, but not limited to, Control Room, LED, IPTV systems, content creation and programming
Develop and implement policies and procedures regarding facilities presentation with a focus on maximizing the integration of all systems to meet business, marketing, and entertainment goals
Create standard operating procedures for all building AV, presentation broadcast technical services, and digital media assets; ensure all content is effectively delivered to all playback and show control systems
Work closely with the Sr. Director of Game Experience to execute presentation elements for all Warriors home games
Provide leadership and direct all activities and personnel engaged in operating, maintaining, and programming the audio and video systems within the arena and plaza
Build and lead a team of full-time broadcast professionals, engineers and game-day operators/freelancers to operate and work all Golden State Warriors and Chase Center events; conduct ongoing reviews of budgeting and staffing plans, recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating departmental personnel and service providers
Collaborate with Warriors Studio Production, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships and event promoters to ensure game and event presentation content is developed and executed efficiently and effectively
Develop effective strategies for meeting internal and external client needs through creative deployment of building technology
Manage third-party service providers by enforcing the agreed upon scope of services within the various signed service agreements (i.e. freelance and union production crewing agencies, maintenance providers, contractors, digital signage service providers, etc.)
Create and manage overall Chase Center Facility Presentation budget including operational costs, capital improvements and personnel
Ensure all equipment is game ready, and events are covered through scheduling
Works closely with content creation, Broadcast, IT, Operations and other groups across Chase Center and the Golden State Warriors to resolve problems and assist in their areas of need
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree
7-10 years of experience in a managerial capacity in venue presentation and/or Live Event/TV production
Experience leading a large group of production professionals, freelancers and day-of-event personnel
Detailed knowledge of video and scoreboard production in a sports and entertainment facility
Strong knowledge of production workflow, HD/UHD/HDR/4K production, IP workflow, QC procedures, signal flow and MAM systems
Specific and intimate knowledge of AV production systems - Ross Expression, Cisco StadiumVision, Daktronics, EVS, Evertz (among other industry leading A/V technologies), camera and PTZ systems, non-linear editing, audio, video, and lighting control systems; familiarity with content creation software, like the Adobe Creative Suite and 3D motion graphics software
Previous experience integrating, implementing or refreshing an arena/venue broadcast control room, including familiarity with modern broadcast cabling infrastructure used in broadcast environments
Exemplary communication skills and professionalism to deal effectively with all business contacts, vendors and clients
Knowledge and previous experience working with the NBA and concert/family/event show promoters preferred
Available to work non-conventional shifts and hours, including weekends and holidays
