Job Summary

The Lead Audio Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for managing and providing technical expertise and team leadership for all of the UVCC sound, media, video, and any other related areas concerning UVCC event production. You will be responsible for technical guidance, maintenance of AV equipment, set-up and tear-down of event-related items, proposal creation, and event coverage and management.

Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Audio Visual work, Convention Services (preferably with a convention center, hotel, sports facility, performing arts facility.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in facility management, hospitality management, marketing, public relations, business management.

Additional years of experience may be substituted for formal education.
