FAST (Fire and Safety Team)
Overview:

Iowa Speedway is excited to be accepting applications for the 2018 race-season for part-time, Firefighter, EMT, and Paramedic positions to work on the Fire & Safety Team. Members of the Fire & Safety Team are responsible for the safety and well-being of our guests and competitors at Iowa Speedway while providing great customer service to our fans.  We are looking for team members with excellent interpersonal communication skills, who pay attention to detail, and possess the ability to remain calm and collected under pressure. 

Team members must complete the one day NASCAR Advanced Training Program offered by Iowa Speedway on April 21 or 22, 2018.
 
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a valid CPR Certification, be at least 21 years of age by June 15, 2018, and have a reliable means of communication, preferably an E-mail account.

• If applying for a Firefighter position, candidates must possess a Firefighter I Certification or higher
• If applying for an EMT position, candidates must possess a valid State of Iowa EMT or Paramedic Certification (EMT’ s and Paramedics are not required to have Firefighter I)

After you complete the online questionnaire it will be reviewed and you will be sent a job application to complete and return.  Once all information is obtained from candidate, a job interview may be scheduled.

Please have Fire, Medical, and *NIMS Certifications available, as you will be asked to scan and attach them to this online job questionnaire.
 
*NIMS ICS-100.b & IS-700.a (or greater) are the only two you will be asked for, If you do not have both, visit www.fema.gov to complete online.
