Job Summary

Buyer

Achieve sales and profit objectives for multiple merchandise categories by developing and successfully implementing buying strategies, inventory management, merchandise selection and allocation, assortment and promotional planning, developing pricing strategies and marketing plans. Conduct financial/merchandise business analysis, monitor shop level open-to-buy (OTB), balance stock and vendor matrix development. Consistently deliver World Class Service by ensuring excellent vendor relations, efficient cost negotiation, exclusive product development and effective communication with shops. Communicate regularly with the visual merchandising team. Ensure the dissemination of product knowledge to shop associates. 

Qualifications 

•  Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
•  Understanding of merchandise flow and transition 
•  Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
•  5+ years retail buying experience with comparable volume/proven track record of success
•  Buying experience with a luxury retailer or golf resort preferred
•  Bachelor's degree required

Physical Requirements  

Ability to sit for long periods of time. Repetitive hand use.
