Job Summary
Job Summary: As SVP, HR, you’ll act as an advisor on people issues and collaborate with business leaders to understand operational challenges and provide HR solutions when need be. You must have a profound ability to relate to people and rapidly build high performing partnerships and influence across the business. You will have a big role in shaping company culture by implementing HR processes across the board. The SVP, HR will have exceptional HR Generalist functional knowledge and experience as he/she will not only be responsible for establishing HR policies but also implementing them.
Job Responsibilities:
- Senior level decision making on all strategic HR/people issues
- Serving as a consultative business partner, providing guidance, direction, expertise and lead HR processes, programs and policies
- Building successful relationships across the organization and developing a detailed understanding of business needs
- Interpreting headcount data, movement, salaries and funding in partnership with the Strategic Finance team
- Conducting compensation analysis to ensure organizational equity and managing costs
- Partnering with businesses on all key talent decisions
- Working with business partners to identify critical factors influencing turnover and engagement
- Assisting in the facilitation of top talent discussion with leaders and drive on-going follow-up and updates
- Identifying HR best practices
- Establishing a new performance review process in which clear criteria for raises and promotions is articulated
- Reviewing existing compensation structure and create salary bands with a clear business justification
- Analyzing the current HR software and make a recommendation on the need to implement new solutions
- Establishing an onboarding process that ensures the most efficient transition for new employees
- Creating a recruitment process that establishes sourcing of candidate’s parameters, interview steps by job type, and a RACI chart
Qualifications:
- 10 - 15 years of experience as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate across the organization
