Baseball Coach, Full Time Assistant + 2 Graduate Assistants

Job Summary

Assistant Coach - Full Time

• Assist the Head Coach in providing leadership for the Baseball Program.
• Play an integral role in the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, player/team spiritual development, daily team training, evaluation and recruitment of student-athletes, academic monitoring, and skill development of players.
• Must work within University, Conference, and NCAA guidelines to provide student-athletes an exceptional collegiate experience while competing for championships.
• Must be willing to lead our JV program and assist as a member of the varsity coaching staff in any and all areas.
• Position will receive full tuition plus stipend. 

Required Qualifications (Assistant Coach):

• Must possess a strong personal Christian commitment and be committed to the University mission to make Christlike disciples through higher education in a Christ centered community.
• Bachelor’s Degree with two years of successful coaching experience.
• Ability to coach hitters with a strong knowledge base, geared toward all offensive aspects of baseball.
• Demonstrate the ability to be a spiritual mentor and leader to players.
• Working knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations.
• Demonstrate leadership and communication skills including strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess the highest level of ethical standards.
• Must be able to recruit qualified student-athletes and display a strong commitment to their spiritual growth and academic success.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Must possess and maintain a current driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record while serving in the position

Required Qualifications (Graduate Assistant)

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and acceptance into a Master’s program the University.
• Must possess and maintain a current driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record while serving in the position.
