Business Analytics Software Engineer

Job Summary

• Develop, test, and support a variety of custom business applications and data integrations.


• Work closely with our Data Engineers to enhance existing systems and integrations.


• Assist in expanding the real-time Enterprise Data Warehouse architecture to facilitate a multitude of analytical views that span the landscape of business systems.


• Provide internal user support for a variety of business systems.


• Assist in the operational aspect of supporting BA functions during Phillies events.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced Degree preferred.


• Experience with three or more of the following programming languages (e.g. Angular, C#, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Python, Swift, .NET Core).


• A self-starter that can conduct independent research on emerging programming languages.


• Experience with relational database development including SAP HANA, Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle in addition to proficient knowledge in SQL Programming, SSIS, and Visual Studio.


• Experience in developing and working with APIs (Application Programming Interface).


• Knowledge of and familiarity with data modeling using tools such as R.


• Familiarity with Windows, Windows Server, Linux, and Microsoft Office. Experience with Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure is a plus.


• Mobile application development experience is a plus (iOS and/or Android platforms).


• Excellent written and oral communication skills.


• Demonstrate ability to exercise sound decision-making skills.

• Ability to mentor and teach other staff members.


• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Must be able to work flexible hours to include holidays, weekends, and evenings as needed.
