Head Baseball Coach/Game Day Events Operations Assistant

Job Summary

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Building a successful program from the ground up, recruitment, retention, and graduating of student-athletes
• Academic supervision, fundraising for both the baseball program and the athletic department, budget management, supervising assistant coaches, developing and managing a competitive schedule, and organizing and conducting all practices.
• Must adhere to all rules and regulations of NAIA, and the university..
• Expected to implement the NAIA Champions of Character Program within the baseball program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Coaching, Athletic Administration, Business, Education or closely related field.
• Five (5) years of demonstrated success in building a successful program at the collegiate or varsity high school level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations.
• First Aid/CPR Certified.
• Mental Health First Aid Training.
• Current and Valid Drivers license.
• NAIA Champions of Character Coaching Course completed.
• Must satisfactorily complete criminal and credential background check.
• Valid work authorization documents required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Coaching, Athletic Administration, Business, Education or closely related field.
