Events and Entertainment Coordinator

Job Summary

 

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Follow up with past clients and reach out to new potential clients to book new events

  • Coordinate all Legacy Club Rentals

  • Coordinate all Sutter Health Park Facility Rentals acting as the main point of contact for Facility Rental clients before, during, and after each event

  • Responsible for pre-event and post-event financials

  • Work with the Director of Events and Entertainment to maintain departmental budget goals

  • Coordinate day of vendor load-in and set-up

  • Stay apprised of events in the Sacramento area and think of creative new events to bring to Sutter Health Park

  • Collaborate and work with operational staff regarding event set-ups/timing

  • Maintain the Sutter Health Park Facility calendar and managing its distribution to staff

  • Creatively suggest event layouts to clients based on stadium rules and regulations

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and handle projects simultaneously.

  • Strong motivational skills and ability to self-start. 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to respond to problems and to assist clients with a calm, courteous, and helpful manner and attitude.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

 
Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Meeting, and Event Planning or related field required OR

  • At least two years of experience in customer service, retail, event planning, or a related field.

 
Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods during events.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

  • Must be able to work a variety of hours in order to accommodate events.
