Assistant Strength Coach - Men's Basketball

Job Summary

The Assistant Strength Coach is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring speed, strength and conditioning programs to enhance athletic performance. One must have an ability to coach both male and female athletes. As well as, one should be familiar with body composition evaluation computerized program development and record keeping. 

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One year of full-time collegiate Strength and Conditioning coaching, teaching, or programming experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• General knowledge of NCAA rules
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
• Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with others

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• CSCS or SCCC/MSCC certification
• CPR/AED + First Aid certifications
