Job Summary

The assistant coach involves supporting the head coach in managing an athletic team through coaching during practices, games, and matches. This includes assisting in player instruction, recruiting student-athletes, maintaining exemplary behavior, and mentoring athletes.

Responsibilities also encompass organizing practices, communicating with athletes and their coaches, conducting off-season training, and adhering to institutional and NJCAA regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum (AA) Associate Arts Degree.
• 2 years of coaching experience.
• Demonstrate interest in and an aptitude for performing tasks coaching their specific sport.
• Exercise good judgement in protecting positive coaching behavior.
• Must possess knowledge of rules, regulations and strategies to provide the head coach.
