Join Our Team as a Sports Facility Supervisor!

Are you energized by sports, talented at keeping complex operations running smoothly, and motivated to lead a team that creates exceptional guest experiences? The City of Round Rock is looking for a dynamic Sports Facility Supervisor to help oversee daily operations at our premier sports venues.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in creating seamless events, from youth tournaments to major competitions.

What You’ll Do: 

• Keep our venues moving: Oversee facility operations, event setup and takedown, opening/closing procedures, and facility security. 

• Lead with purpose: Schedule, train, and supervise staff; participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance management. 

• Build team excellence: Provide continuous training and support on policies, operations, and event requirements. 

• Protect the space: Monitor and report custodial and maintenance needs. 

• Be the face of the facility: Greet visitors, assist patrons, stay in the know on reservations and events, and provide outstanding customer service.

What You Bring:

• Associate degree required (2+ years toward a 4-year Sports Management or related program may substitute). 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

• At least 1 year of experience in sports or recreation program work. 

• A valid Texas Driver’s License (or ability to obtain one before employment). 

• A team-first mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for creating great experiences.
