Job Summary

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Asset Acquisition specializing in Sports & Entertainment properties. This leadership role involves identifying, evaluating, and acquiring sports and entertainment venues, as well as like facilities, suitable for technology deployments and site acquisition partnerships.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification and evaluation of potential sports and entertainment assets for acquisition, including venues, teams, or related properties.
  • Source and secure high-value sports and entertainment assets.
  • Negotiate contracts with venue owners and operators.
  • Collaborate with revenue and marketing teams for deployment strategies.
  • Ensure assets align with company profitability metrics.
  • Report acquisition progress to the EVP, Revenues & Asset Acquisitions.

 

Experience

  • Proven experience in sports & entertainment, hospitality or site acqusition verticals is preferred.
  • Prior roles as a decision maker or similar positions involving sales negotiation and contracting are highly desirable.
  • Strong background in deal and contract analysis with proficiency in CRM software tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating complex deal points with a solid understanding of Standard Operation Process for closing and pipeline oversight.
  • Experience working within the sports or entertainment industries is a plus but not mandatory; relevant experience in high-value asset transactions is essential.
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with strategic thinking to facilitate successful acquisitions.
  • Ability to interpret data accurately and communicate findings effectively to executive leadership. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a passion for sports & entertainment assets who can navigate complex transactions while leading strategic growth initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
