Senior Associate or Deputy Athletic Director/Revenue Generation
Job Summary
A defined career path exists. Based on experience, the successful candidate will be hired into one of two levels of professional opportunity: Senior Associate Athletic Director/Revenue Generation or Deputy Athletic Director/Revenue Generation and will be given the opportunity to progress through the career path by achieving defined performance objectives once employed.
Impact & Responsibilities: Serves on Athletics Senior Leadership team; oversees all athletic revenue generating departments including marketing, ticketing, annual giving including Panther Scholarship Club; manages multi-media rights contractual services; serves as primary liaison with university foundation and university relations; identifies and cultivates new revenue opportunities; manages the departmental external relations budget; and may serve as sport administrator for assigned sports. Additional duties required for Deputy Athletic Director/Revenue Generation position.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree; at least five years athletic administration experience; and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, the Big XII Conference, and the University of Northern Iowa. Additional experience required for Deputy Athletic Director/Revenue Generation position.
Preferred: Master's degree and Division I experience.
