Job Summary
The Ticket Operations Coordinator assists with all aspects of ticket operations. Primary responsibilities include printing tickets, fulfilling ticket orders and running payments.Reports To: Director of Ticket Operations
Responsibilities:
- Process, print and pay all tickets within the office
- Balance all income receive from ticket sales/single event daily
- Learn all aspects of ticketing systems
- Issue and track all local and national sponsors ticket requests
- Issue and track all complimentary tickets requested by all internal departments or promoters
- Track all coupons, vouchers, and special promotions
- Generate invoices for Season Ticket Accounts
- Liaison between sales and fan relations staff with ticket related issues
- Assist with Will Call responsibilities and ticket needs on match/event day
- Act as the higher point of contact for all elevated customer service occurrences on match/event day
- Train all employees on the Ticketing System
- Researches issues/errors concerning printing, game summary, account manager and online purchases
- Contribute to good quality customer service when dealing with both external customers and internal customers
- Help build a positive working environment in the Box Office and build positive communication with the Ticket Sales and Fan Relations departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Good judgment and effective decision-making and problem resolution skills, including skill to recognize and deal effectively and appropriately with real and potential problem areas, including skill to determine the issues/problems that need to be brought to the attention of higher level staff and/or management
- Must be able to interact respectfully and communicate in a polite and professional manner with the public and department personnel via phone, written correspondence, or in person
- Must be proficient in the use of basic computer applications
- Must be self-motivated, organized, punctual, self-starter, and reliable
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
