Job Summary
The Assistant Football Coach reports directly to the Head Football Coach. Responsibilities and duties of the Assistant Football Coach include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Direct all aspects of the special teams, its coaches, and players
- Work with Head Football Coach to implement an effective recruitment program
- Adhere to all policies, rules, and regulations of the College, Athletic Department, NCAC, and NCAA
- Provide guidance and support to student-athletes towards achieving their greatest potential, both academically and athletically.
- Monitor class schedules, grades, and student-athlete academic progress
- Contribute to football fundraising activities
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Minimum of two years of experience in collegiate football is preferred
- Collegiate football recruiting experience is preferred
- Collegiate competitive experience is preferred
- Front Rush recruiting software experience is preferred
- Demonstrated skills with technologies used in education
- Ability to interact professionally with diverse community of students, parents, staff, and guests of the College
- Attention to detail and good time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
