Assistant Director of Aquatics & Facility Operations

Job Summary

The Assistant Director reports to the Associate Director and assumes their responsibilities in their absence, with a full-time 12-month commitment that includes late-night and weekend duties during the academic year and limited evening and weekend responsibilities in the summer.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Possess a current CPO/AFO certification.
2. Completed a two-year graduate assistantship in aquatics, facilities/operations, or special events.
3. Experience with facility access & scheduling software (e.g. Fusion, When to Work).
4. Masters degree required with a major in recreation administration, sport management, leisure studies, physical education, kinesiology
5. One to two years of experience managing/supervising/developing professional employees.
