Job Summary
The associate director of OLA will assist in providing legal counseling to various national offices and membership client groups. This is a true "jack of all trades role" and ensures additional bandwidth and increased departmental depth and breadth. This job provides flexibility under the current hybrid attendance policy; however, relocation is required.
Qualifications:
JD degree and current bar admissions in any state required; ability to obtain in-house licensure in Indiana.
At least 5 years of in-house or broad corporate law firm experience in multiple subject areas. This role is for a legal “jack-of-all trades”.
True corporate generalist; familiarity with numerous areas of in-house legal work from operations, to litigation management, to contracts.
This position will be based out of the national office in Indianapolis, Indiana. Current work environment is hybrid; 3 days in the office and 2 days are remote.
Sports industry in-house experience a plus.
