Director-Athletic Counseling

Job Summary

The Director of Athletic Counseling will lead and deliver comprehensive healthcare and lifetime wellness services for University students athletes. He or she will work directly with sport administration, coaches, physicians, athletic medicine personnel, sports dieticians, strength and conditioning personnel, and other allied health personnel.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or directly related field.

State licensure in field of practice.

Minimum four (4) years' experience in higher education setting or other related setting.

Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, coaches, student athletes, physicians, and other allied health personnel.

Must possess problem solving and critical thinking skills, innovation and creativity, adaptability, initiative and stress tolerance to various situations.
