Job Summary
Oversee a volunteer program consisting of over 1,000+ individuals, including the development and execution of a recruiting strategy, committee communications plans, and event execution. responsible for the volunteer training program, including scheduling and material development. Oversee food and beverage procurement and venue design and setup.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, sports management, or a related area preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of management experience, ideally in marketing, sports, event management, media or hospitality required.
Industry experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Trust Event, Authorize.net, Google analytics, DocuSign, Square and other event related software platforms preferred.
Ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly to executives at all levels (both internally and externally).
In depth knowledge of the Des Moines and Iowa business and charitable community
